Our process entails two visits and can include a follow-up visit.
FIRST VISIT:
We will sit down to understand your athletic background and goals and if you wish to work with a bicycle shop. Remember, everyone has to begin somewhere. We also allocate time to conduct a postural examination and osteopathic evaluation.
Then, you begin stationarily riding our fit bike – the Retül Müve. Whether the objective is to purchase a bike with custom geometry or stock geometry, the Retül Müve is a fully adjustable machine that allows us to create a unique bike setup for only you.
We create a blueprint of the ending setup by digitally recording data points on the machine. Then, we will reference our bike spec resources to determine which (if any) stock bike options can be optimized to fit you.
Our favorite part of this visit is teaching you how to identify the optimal bikes or those that are not. You will leave with a list of definitive bike options, instructions on sourcing those bikes, and an understanding of the sizing process.
We will ensure you can rely on us to ask questions, unwind any confusion, and make recommendations at any time during the buying process.
SECOND VISIT:
With your new bike, you will schedule a time to conduct the official fit to ensure the bike’s setup mimics the setup established from your first visit. If any components need to be changed, Nordmeyer Cycling has industry sources to purchase any component.
FOLLOW-UP VISIT (if needed):
If you are unsure of how the bike handles or concerned with how your body responds to the fit, we want you to contact us to discuss. Nordmeyer Cycling believes follow-ups are necessary and are worth the time to ensure you have the best experience.
